Synchron has launched a weekly virtual catch up series to help its advisers adapt to a new way of conducting business during the Coronavirus emergency and to help them overcome feelings of isolation and stay connected.

The meetings will be hosted via the Zoom virtual meetings platform every Tuesday from 10:00am Melbourne time, beginning 24 March 2020.

“At Synchron we understand that when things feel chaotic and out of control, sometimes the best thing we can do is to take the time to focus on the positive,” said Synchron Director, Don Trapnell. “It’s easy to fall into the trap of focusing on how we wish things were, instead of looking at the reality and asking, how can we adapt?”

The catch ups will feature an invited guest each week, who will participate for 20-30 minutes. The remaining time will be made available to advisers to ask questions and share ideas.

Next Tuesdays featured guest is futurist, Gihan Perera  ( who will discuss more effective ways to work from home.

The following week will feature business performance and culture expert, Keith Abraham (

“When we take a few minutes out of our day to think about our business and write down ways we can adapt and keep growing, it raises our energy levels and puts us in a more productive and confident frame of mind,” Mr Trapnell said.

The sessions are open to all Synchron advisers and selected business partners.
