The 10th of 12 webinars in the Financial Advice Association Australia (FAAA) Masterclass Series 2023, this session is hosted by Robert Kimberley, Head of Professional Standards at the FAAA. It takes a deep-dive into the relationship between professionalism and judgement, and explores how financial planners can make ethically informed decisions in their professional practices.

Superannuation Risk 2023 Conference
June 14 – June 15
Hosted by IBR Conferences at the Novotel Central Sydney, and online, this hybrid two-day event examines how superannuation funds might prepare for the unknown. Featuring guest speakers from across the superannuation industry, it explores, ‘the issues affecting the back and middle office and ways to optimise investment operations and improve efficiency.’ More details
Financial Standard ~ Technical Services Forum
June 15
The Financial Standard Technical Services Forum is open to technical professionals, including technical services experts, paraplanners, research, policy and advice specialists. Held quarterly, in March, June, September and November, the Forum is led by industry technical experts, covering best practice retirement strategies, SMSF income streams, aged care, taxation and more. The June Forum will be held at the Fullerton Hotel in Sydney from 12:00-2:30pm. More details.
Adviser Innovation Summit 2023
June 15
The theme of this year’s Adviser Innovation Summit, hosted by Momentum Media’s Adviser Innovation, focuses on adaptation and economic evolution. The full-day Melbourne event will be held at the Grand Hyatt, and follows on from last week’s Sydney event. It speaks to the generational shifts in wealth management, with a program designed to offer insights into how advisers can rethink the way they deliver advice, to meet the changing needs of their clients, as they enter new life stages. FSC 24 Trans Tasman Strategic Leaders Summit

It is a long, long way on the horizon, but the Financial Services Council New Zealand (FSC NZ) and the Financial Services Council Australia (FSC Australia) have just announced that they have teamed up for an inaugural Trans-Tasman FSC Strategic Leaders’ Summit in Auckland from 5-7 March 2024.
